August 1st (7pm) Kerry Hart Bieneman (A James Taylor/Carole King Tribute)

Kerry Hart Bieneman entertains with a tribute to two heavyweight singer-songwriters of the Baby Boom era, Carole King and James Taylor.

Who is Kerry Hart Bieneman? Kerry holds a B.M. (magna cum laude) in vocal performance from Lawrence University and a M.M. in vocal performance from Northwestern University. She is an active pianist, music director, and singer throughout southeastern Wisconsin. She has served as a voice professor at Lawrence University and UW-Milwaukee, and most recently teaching at Carthage College in Kenosha, WI.

She has worked as a private vocal coach and accompanist for Florentine Opera, Skylight Opera Theatre, Opera for the Young, Milwaukee Rep, Waukesha Choral Union, and Northwestern University. She is also the music director for the Musical Mainstage shows at Sunset Playhouse in Elm Grove, WI. Kerry is the Choral Director of the KIDS from Wisconsin, and also enjoys serving as the associate music director at St. Thomas Aquinas in Waterford, WI.

Kerry enjoys singing a variety of repertoire including classical, musical theatre, pop, and jazz. A few of her favorite stage roles include Victoria (Victory for Victoria), Jo (Little Women), Cherubino (The Marriage of Figaro), Hansel (Hansel and Gretel), Cathy (The Last Five Years), and Percy (The Spitfire Grill). She has sung with such companies as Florentine Opera, Skylight Opera Theatre, Milwaukee Opera Theatre, and Opera for the Young. Kerry is also an active cabaret & concert performer.
