Founded in 1975, the Concord Chamber Orchestra is an all-volunteer, non-paid group of approximately 50 musicians from a variety of professions and backgrounds. Their mission is to make classical music accessible to audiences throughout the greater Milwaukee area. Audiences enjoy smaller, more intimate settings than most orchestras at an affordable ticket price. The repertoire is carefully chosen by Music Director Jamin Hoffman with the goal of offering selections the audience will recognize, as well as introducing them to unfamiliar and engaging works. The CCO is also committed to supporting the work of emerging artists. They often include young performers in their concerts throughout the season. Additionally, through our annual Concerto Competition, CCO gives one outstanding young musician the opportunity to perform a concerto of his or her choice with the orchestra.
